Hundreds of years before, people were living not perceiving the happenings all over the globe. It is indeed a very disturbing thing that turns people to be innocent or unconscious of the real world. However, through a great and brilliant Canadian mind, television is finally invented. Reginald Fessenden, a Quebec-born inventor, was one of the many discoverers who invented television. In fact, the first television set in North America was patented by him in the year 1919 (www.connectedrogersca). With over 500 patents to his name, including pioneering breakthroughs in sonar and radio, Fessenden came up with this ground-breaking idea by lying on the carpet with a cat on his chest (www.connectedrogersca).
